Here are the most popular cars in the US for 2025 - 1

The American automotive market is sending off a dynamic 2025, in which traditionalism and powerful machines once again triumphed over changing trends. With a total volume of 16.3 million new registrations — an increase of 2.4% over the previous period — the US proves that the love for large vehicles is more alive than ever. In the list of the ten best-selling models, the dominance of pickup trucks and crossovers is almost absolute, with only the Toyota Camry managing to defend the honor of the classic sedan.

There is no change at the top of the food chain and it is unlikely that there will be any soon. For the astonishing 44th consecutive year, the Ford F-Series has been crowned king of America. With over 800,000 units sold and a clear growth of 9.5%, the workhorse of the "Blue Oval" remains untouchable, closely followed by its eternal rival Chevrolet Silverado. The top three is completed by the Toyota RAV4, which continues to be the most preferred choice among families looking for practicality and reliability.

The big surprise of the year came from the electric car camp. While until recently the Tesla Model Y was flying in the charts, in 2025 the model recorded a serious decline of 15%, which is a clear signal of saturation or increased competition in the segment. At the other extreme is the Toyota Tacoma, which literally erupted with 42% growth, proving that Americans adore updated mid-size pickups. The Chevrolet Equinox also enjoyed huge interest, recording a jump of over 30%, which shifted the layers to the middle of the table.

Although the market is diversifying, the ranking shows an interesting resilience of Japanese brands. Toyota and Honda occupy a significant part of the Top 15, with even the veteran Corolla and the dynamic Civic continuing to find hundreds of thousands of buyers. The American dream on four wheels in 2025 remains true to the principle of "the more, the more", combining high cross-country ability with modern efficiency. Here is the top 15:
