After many years, the Toyota Camry was the unspoken standard of comfort and status in Russia, today, due to sanctions, this niche is gaping empty, and the brand's management has decided to fill it with a new flagship from the ambitious “M“ line.
The first person in the company's management confirmed that after a careful analysis of the market, the choice of the next body type fell precisely on the classic business sedan. The demand for such machines remains high – from the needs of state administration and corporate fleets to high-end taxi services and private customers who do not hide their sympathy for the new eastern offerings on the market.
The new “M“ family, which made its official debut in early March 2026, has already laid the foundations with the M70 and M90 crossovers. These models use the solid technological base of the British brand MG, part of the powerful Chinese concern SAIC. This gives serious trump cards in the hands of Moskvich, since in the portfolio of their partners there is already a modern sedan, debuted last year, which is ready to serve as a technical donor.
