Turkish Airlines carried 85.3 million passengers from January to the end of November

Turkey's national carrier - Turkish Airlines (THY), reported an increase in passengers carried not only in November this year compared to November last year, but also for the first 11 months of the current year compared to the same period in 2024, according to the airline's data. The number of passengers carried by Turkish Airlines in November increased by 14% year-on-year.

The company carried nearly 7.42 million people last month, which is 14% more than the same period in 2024, writes Daily Sabah.

The passenger load factor in November also increased by 2.3 percentage points year-on-year to 84.5%, data shared by the company show. From January to November, the load factor increased slightly by 0.9 percentage points to 83.2%.

At the same time, the company also saw a rise in the total number of passengers carried in the January-November period, which increased by 8.4% year-on-year to 85.3 million.

This figure broke the annual number for 2024, which amounted to 85.2 million passengers.

In 11 months, the company saw an increase in the number of passengers in all regions, from a modest increase of 0.8% year-on-year in Central and South America to a jump of 20.5% in Africa.

The company carried nearly 29.5 million passengers on domestic routes, which is 4% more year-on-year.
