TUI, which is among the largest tour operators in Europe, boasted the highest annual revenue in its history, citing an exceptional return on holiday experiences.

The German company reported a growth in core revenue of 12.6% on a constant currency basis to nearly EUR 1.46 billion for the year to September 30, with revenue increasing by 4.4%, writes Daily Sabah.

Profit before tax rose by 20% to EUR 1.03 billion. The group said profits were expected to grow next year by between 7% and 10%, while revenue was expected to grow at a slower pace of 2% to 4%.

The company said early signs for summer 2026 were “positive”, “with booked revenues well ahead in what remains a challenging operating environment”.

The most popular destinations for next year again include Greece, the Balearic Islands and Turkey. Earlier in September, the company announced plans to open two new hotels in Turkey next year.

The record annual profit for 2025 beats the updated guidance given by the company in August, when it raised its outlook after solid summer demand.

Sebastian Ebel, CEO of TUI Group, said: “In a highly competitive market environment, we achieved the best result in the company’s history and exceeded the EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) forecast for the full year 2025.” He added that the group was expanding its use of artificial intelligence, which he said was “a great opportunity for TUI.”

“We are making our content visible with artificial intelligence and bookable with artificial intelligence – for example through partnerships like Mindtrip.”
