A key focus of the talks was ensuring regional energy security and the stable functioning of export routes to world markets.
Particular attention was paid to constructive cooperation with large American corporations Chevron and ExxonMobil, which remain key partners in the implementation of leading oil and gas projects - Tengiz, Kashagan and Karachaganak.
The parties discussed in detail the prospects for the development of the coal industry, in particular deep coal processing and coal chemistry. A roadmap has been approved and projects for the production of ammonia, urea, synthetic gas and diesel fuel are planned with the participation of international and local companies.
