The competition is one of Electrohold's most established and successful initiatives to promote vocational education in Bulgaria. It started in 2012 and is part of the Ministry of Education and Science's schedule for national vocational competitions. Over the years, Energy for the Future has developed and expanded its scope and currently covers all vocational high schools with an electrical engineering profile in Western Bulgaria.
