Ukraine has not yet allowed the EU expert mission that visited the country in March to inspect the Druzhba gas pipeline. European Commission spokeswoman Anna-Kaissa Itkonen said this at a briefing in Brussels.
“Indeed, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa sent a letter to Volodymyr Zelensky informing him that a small team of experts is ready to inspect the gas pipeline and is in Ukraine. We have not yet received a response to this letter, but I will inform you when we receive it. I have no information about the route of the mission and I cannot say where it is now,“ Itkonen said.
