Iliyan Yonchev: BSP strives to implement policies, not to keep people in positions - 1

I do not accept the claim that the BSP will not pass the 4 percent threshold in parliamentary elections, these are suggestions from some of the opposition forces, irritated that social policy is sustainable, said BSP MP Iliyan Yonchev in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio.

And he pointed out that the minimum wage has been raised, new increases are coming, the Swiss rule has been changed, "and we have also opened the debate for a fair tax system" .

In the program "12+3" He admitted that the government will serve a full term and added:

"In the next 3 years, with hard work and dialogue with partners, we have no concerns about the results that will be in the regular parliamentary elections and our ambition is to increase the result."

Yonchev also commented that yesterday there was a lively discussion at the BSP National Assembly, focused mainly on the policies that should be undertaken by the government until the end of the term.

"Rotation is only one small element that must be defended. We do not accept the BSP's refusal of Natalia Kiselova because of the upcoming rotation. The partners in the joint government have the right to raise this issue, and the ambition for a full term includes another year and after the rotation with GERB and ITN passes, Kiselova will be the Speaker of the National Assembly for another year at the end of the term. "

Yonchev said that the BSP naturally made demands for "continuation of our policies to increase incomes, for the Swiss rule and for increasing maternity in the second year":

"Our goal and ambition is for people to live better, not to fight for positions and we do not accept politics as a deal and trade. The decision of the National Assembly with 100 votes clearly shows what the party's desire is and how to continue participation in government and our ambition is for a full mandate."

The BSP MP admitted that he had asked himself the question - what would have happened if the BSP said – "Natalia Kiselova is a red line for us"?

"Wouldn't society accuse us of fighting for positions and benefits if we put the future of the state, entry into the eurozone and stability on the same map. The BSP strives to implement policies, not to keep people in positions," he explained.
