Yesterday we were presented with the worst budget since the "Jean-Videnovo era". This was stated by the co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" Ivaylo Mirchev at a briefing at the party headquarters in connection with the draft budget for 2026 proposed by the Ministry of Finance.
Mirchev described the draft budget as a "tsunami for the economy". "We will oppose this type of budget in parliament," he is categorical.
According to the MP from the PP-DB's PG Martin Dimitrov, "the leftist government is declaring war on the middle class and business."
"First they lied that they would not raise taxes, and the "dividend" tax is increasing from 5 to 10%," he emphasized and pointed out that social security contributions are increasing by 2 percentage points.
According to him, GERB is making the largest increase in the tax and social security burden in the last 20 years and accused the ruling majority of "creating a piggy bank for 5 billion leva."
