A general protest in Sofia today is also being organized by the "Podkrepa" Labor Union - of employees at the Employment Agency, the General Labor Inspectorate and the Social Assistance Agency, reports the Bulgarian National Radio. The request is for the government to ensure a 20 percent increase in salaries in the three agencies from next year.
There will also be protests during their lunch break in front of the territorial divisions of the three institutions in the country. Among them is the Employment Agency in Yambol.
The "Podkrepa" Medical Federation will also protest in front of the National Assembly against the lack of an adequate income policy for those employed in the "Healthcare" sector.
A demonstration in the capital in front of the Council of Ministers is also organized by the National Federation of "Agriculture and Forestry" of the CT "Podkrepa". It is under the title: "For decent wages for those working in the administrations implementing state policies for sustainable agriculture and food security and environmental and water control".
In the evening at 6 p.m. PP and DB are organizing protests against the proposed budget for next year, and the meeting of the Budget Committee, which starts at 2:15 p.m., will be broadcast on a screen in front of the National Assembly building.
At a demonstration in front of the National Assembly, VMRO is expected to demand that the rights of citizens with Bulgarian identity in the Republic of North Macedonia be protected after the attack on journalist Vladimir Perev.
