Early Wednesday afternoon, students from NATFA began gathering in front of the school building for an anti-government protest. They then plan to head to the large anti-government protest, which will be held in the Triangle of Power, "Nova TV" reported.
There will be three student marches tonight. One will start from NATFA, and the other two - from Sofia University. For the first time, a protest action will be held by the newly established Association “Students against the Mafia“. The initiative involves graduates of various universities in the country, who are against the "model of a conquered, corrupt and uncontrolled state, currently personified by Delyan Peevski and Boyko Borisov".
The security measures for the planned large demonstration include the establishment of 19 checkpoints, several of which will be dynamic. Police will be present in the streets along „Dondukov” Blvd. to the headquarters of „DPS – Novo nacho”.
From 6:00 p.m. until the end of the protest, if necessary and at the discretion of the „Traffic Police“ department at the SDVR, the entry of road vehicles is prohibited respectively on:
♦ ul. „Moskovska“ between „Georgi S. Rakovski“ and „Budapest“ str.;
♦ ul. „Georgi Benkovski“ between „Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov“ and „Moskovska“ str.;
♦ ul. „Budapest“ between „Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov“ and „Moskovska“ str.
SDVR provides security, control posts and traffic regulation at the junctions for the above-mentioned times and places.
