Marking is being laid on sections of the Hemus and Struma motorways and the I-8 road in the Novi Han area, in the Sofia region, the Road Infrastructure Agency (API) announced. The activities will continue until Friday and will be every day from 8:00 to 17:00.
On the Hemus, the activities will be carried out from 0 to 10 km - in the section between Sofia and Yana, in stages in both lanes. Traffic will move to the lanes where work is not being done.
On the “Struma“ marking will be applied in the section from Sofia to Malo Buchino in stages in both lanes, with vehicles moving into the free lanes.
On the I-8 Sofia - Ihtiman road, the marking will be in the section from the “Trakia“ turnoff to the “Pobit Kamak“ district of the village of Novi Han. Traffic will be carried out in the lanes where work is not being carried out.
Drivers need to drive with increased caution and obey traffic signals, the RIA added.
On Saturday, traffic was opened on the section of the “Hemus“ motorway from the “Dermantsi“ junction to the stage connection with the III-307 Lukovit-Ugarchin road, which completed the construction of section 1 of the motorway, announced the outgoing Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov.
