The Council of Ministers adopted a Decision to approve the financing of public municipal infrastructure under the Investment Promotion Act (IPA), bTV reported.
The budget of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth will provide Kardzhali Municipality with funds in the amount of up to 4,865,279 leva (including VAT) for elements of municipal infrastructure.
It is being built in connection with the implementation of the IPA-certified project “Improving competitiveness and expanding the production capacities of “Monek Bulgaria" AD", which will be implemented in Kardzhali. The company's investment amounts to over 11 million leva.
The construction of a new and continuation of the existing technical infrastructure will improve the economic development of the region and will have a favorable impact on attracting new investments. Users of the infrastructure will be the companies „Serta Bulgaria" AD, „Franco" OOD, „IMI Popanastasov" EOOD, „Gorubso-Kardzhali" AD and „Elitkar" OOD and others.
