I expect the crisis to continue if a social one is added to the existing dissatisfaction. I expect this to happen after the New Year, because prices are constantly rising. This was stated by the former BSP chairwoman and leader of "Unruly Bulgaria" Kornelia Ninova in the show "Face to Face" on bTV.
There is room for tension to grow and they give reason for this every day. Look at what is happening with the budget. Can you fool the people like that? Three budgets have been submitted, each with a red line that cannot be crossed – the salaries of MPs and institutions every three months, she added.
„For 10 years I have been protesting against the „Borisov-Peevski“ model and I will continue to do so until this model is dismantled. They expelled me from the BSP and you saw what happened“, the leader of "Rebellious Bulgaria" pointed out.
She also commented on what is happening in the BSP after the government's resignation. „They do not take any responsibility, this is mimicry. They want to kick the ball before the holidays. This was a grave betrayal of the people. I was made the same offers that these guys accepted. I did not accept them because I have morals. They were not respected as partners, they were used. There is nothing surprising – "they are another discarded crutch," Ninova summed up.
According to her, the resignation of the cabinet is the result of fear of protest. According to Ninova, this model of government must be reformed, and deeply. She emphasized that the number of deputies must be reduced, their immunities must be lifted, and all privileges must be taken away. All regulatory bodies that overlap, and all sorts of ladybugs have been appointed to them, must be qualitatively reviewed. The number of mandates in the National Assembly must be limited to three.
According to her, the BSP leadership will most likely lean towards Radev's new project. She described them as suitors and people without morals.
Kornelia Ninova warned that difficult months are ahead and said that we need serious and quality leaders.
She called on Radev to announce his project and decide who he will form a coalition with - Borisov or Peevski. She predicted that Radev will not form a party because he has been backing down so far. Ninova said that Radev destroyed the BSP by standing up to it. Radev raised this BSP leadership. They ruined the BSP, not me. The contract with “Botas“ is a disaster for Bulgaria. It legitimizes this government, which is now leaving, the former BSP leader announced.
