It is a great shame for the state and talk about savages to talk about fair elections in the era of artificial intelligence.
This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by political scientist and former MP Kaloyan Metodiev, representative of the "Unruly Bulgaria" party.
"Where is this? This is Aleko Konstantinov from 1885 - let's talk about election fraud, who will take codes, who will scratch. We have hit rock bottom in Europe."
We did not hold the elections only with colored pebbles. We do not trust this political group, elected through fraudulent elections, to make the rules for elections, he stressed.
Metodiev believes that video surveillance should be evidence in court and that control should be strengthened.
"And those people who scratched on my ballot should go to prison, even for a year."
According to him, however, there is no need for sudden moves to change the electoral legislation.
Radev does not have time to make his project. If he decides to make a party right now, he will have to use the registration "of some marginal parties that have hung around him", Metodiev believes.
"It is terrible what he is doing, rather lightly. This plot has been going on for months – I will form a party, I will not form a party, I may form a party, when you least expect it I will form a party."
On the other hand, "there is intense party work in the country" and there is a self-serving moment in forming this party, the political scientist noted, sharing his observations. In his words, the presidential project is currently not being done for ideological reasons and because of political values, but "by careerists and interest groups who want to take Radev's money".
"Let's not turn out to be another replacement of some careerists and interest groups who see Radev as a piggy bank through which to get their old schemes back in – public procurements, positions. This is the big danger. Radev is not the person who captivates them – at least those who are moving on the ground and who we see in the country, but are his financial capabilities."
"Unruly Bulgaria" will participate in the next elections, announced Kaloyan Metodiev. They will do this with the self-confidence of the only ones "who have not sat on the lap of either Borisov or Peevski".
Freedom from the backstage is achievable, commented Kaloyan Metodiev on the program "Horizont for You".
Peevski's power came from control over Borisov and "two servile parties", he said.
"Borisov is the problem. Peevski is a consequence, not a cause."
Only a high voter turnout can break this cycle, the political scientist pointed out.
