The law on collecting revenues and making expenditures until the adoption of a regular Budget for 2026 has been published in the State Gazette, a check by the Bulgarian National Radio showed.
The adoption of this law by the National Assembly on December 17 was achieved after mass protests against the draft financial framework proposed by the government and the subsequent resignation of the cabinet with Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov.
Yesterday, employers' organizations called on the president or the ombudsman to refer the matter to the Constitutional Court due to the planned indexation by the amount of annual inflation for employees in the budget sector.
