Conditions for tourism in the mountains are bad, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross reported. It is cloudy, with temperatures around 0 degrees.
In Pirin, visibility is reduced, it is snowing more heavily, and in the lower mountain parts it is raining and snowing. In the Stara Planina, on Botev Peak, there is a hurricane wind, the Bulgarian Red Cross added.
No incidents have been registered in the mountains over the past 24 hours.
