41 years of the Revival Process and the memory of its victims are being marked these days in various places in the Rhodope Mountains. Today, many people gathered in front of the Turkyan fountain in the village of Mogilane.
In front of the monument to the youngest victim of the events of 1984 - baby Turkyan, flowers and wreaths were presented by the “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms”. Among the guests was the Consul General of Turkey in Plovdiv Emre Manaf.
“Whether we are here today or tomorrow, we do not make any distinction, on the contrary - we call on everyone to find their place where they feel good, without pressure, without fear, without any manipulation”, said Hayri Sadakov, MP from the APS.
Tomorrow, a pilgrimage to Mogilane will also be made by "DPS-New Beginning".
