Today will be very windy again, with strong winds from the west-northwest. A warning for dangerously strong gusts, with a speed of up to about 90 km/h, has been announced throughout the country.
The minimum temperatures on the last working day of the year will be between minus 5° and plus 1°, in Sofia - about minus 4°, on the seashore - from 0° to 5°, and the maximum - between 5° and 10°, in Sofia - about 6°, on the Black Sea coast - between 8° and 11°. There will be variable cloudiness, more significant in the second half of the day, but precipitation is unlikely.
A temporarily strong northwesterly wind will continue to blow in the mountains, and the danger of avalanches remains elevated.
It will be sunny, with maximum temperatures on the highest peaks from minus 7° on Musala to minus 4° on Cherni Vrah.
On Wednesday, the last day of the old year, it will be windy, and in many regions of the country the temperatures will remain below zero during the day.
On New Year's Eve, isolated light snowfalls are not ruled out, mainly in the mountainous regions. By midnight, temperatures in the country will range from minus 9° in places in Western Bulgaria to minus 1° in the eastern regions.
