„They will constantly ask us: „Will you negotiate with Radev after he takes the field?“ Let me say it clearly:
Hundreds of thousands of Bulgarians took to the squares to declare their will to break with the conquered state and the "Peevski-Borisov" model, for fair elections and for a strong Bulgaria in a strong Europe. We have been there — on this field — from the very beginning and we have not moved from it, even when we have paid a price. This was stated by the co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" Ivaylo Mirchev added:
Today, the task for us is clear: freeing the institutions and firmly positioning ourselves at the core of the EU — with strong participation of Bulgaria in the EU and NATO. Bulgaria will not hide under the table, nor will it wait for the “great powers“ to put it on the napkin. That is why the talks with us are determined by two key benchmarks: against the “Peevski-Borisov“ model and closely with Europe.
Europe — faster and more competitive, less bureaucratic, with strengthened defense capabilities and secure energy resources. A Europe that does not wait, but acts — with a unified and strong response against the redrawing of borders and the imposition of decisions from a position of force. We defend European policies in the field of security and defense that guarantee the sovereignty of the EU and its members.
This can be expected of us. We are predictable: without deviations, without compromises with the national interest and geopolitical positions, with an anti-corruption and economic program as the backbone of the country's European future. Whoever wants governance with this perspective will have to comply with these benchmarks — and position themselves against them. This also applies to Radev's request and his political project. Our coalition does not offer easy or populist solutions, nor does it shirk responsibility by using the idea of direct consultation with the people. Reforms require political will and taking responsibility.
Whoever wants guarantees for governance that frees the country from the “Peevski–Borisov“ model, makes Bulgaria strong and competitive, with a balanced budget and state spending up to 40% of GDP, without raising taxes — let them support us in the elections and guarantee our worthy place in Europe.
