Kancho Stoychev: With Radev, Bulgaria will be in Eastern Europe as a type of thinking - 1

I expect Rumen Radev to announce a people's movement, not a party. This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by sociologist Kancho Stoychev, predicting that Rumen Radev's appearance in the early parliamentary elections will be an occasion for higher voter turnout.

"He did not say that he would build a party. In the speech we heard, there was not a single word that concerned organizational aspects. This is no coincidence. He did not touch on the organizational topic at all".

According to him, with Radev on the political scene, Bulgaria will return to where it belongs in politics - in Eastern Europe as a type of thinking:

"Because we, the people of Eastern Europe, remember the recent past very well. The West forgot the past, forgot the war, forgot totalitarianism and left reality. And Europe is moving towards catastrophe at a very rapid pace. Eastern Europe is the progressive place in Europe", the sociologist pointed out.

According to Kancho Stoychev, after the elections, the possibility of Boyko Borisov partnering with Radev is greater than that of the PP-DB being in partnership with the former president:

"Borisov is much more experienced and firmly on the ground, does not fall into ideological traps, is centrist and has the necessary degree of flexibility in the political process. "All qualities that PP-DB lacks," he said.

Stoychev believes that the Borisov-Peevski tandem was valid until a month or two ago: "We are entering new times and everyone is going their own way. I have often used the phrase "Borisov and Peevski", but to tell you honestly - I stop using it, because Borisov is one thing, Peevski is another".
