The Legal Committee in the parliament is meeting for more than 14 hours on the proposed changes to the Electoral Code.
Yesterday, it took the deputies of the committee an hour and a half to gather a quorum and start work.
The deputies voted that they would first discuss all 222 paragraphs in the draft law, and then proceed to a vote.
This ensured that even if the quorum fell during the meeting, it would continue with the intention of gathering at the moment when it was necessary to proceed to the vote.
