Bogdan Bogdanov warned: Attempts are being made to taint the Electoral Code and steal the elections

"I am in a great hurry. I heard from my colleagues that this week - on Thursday or Friday, the report will be submitted to the National Assembly. Bogdan Bogdanov warned: Attempts are being made to taint the Electoral Code and steal the elections - 1

Attempts are being made to taint the Electoral Code and steal the elections. This was commented on in „Hello, Bulgaria” on Nova TV, PP-DB MP Bogdan Bogdanov.
The session of the Legal Committee, at which changes to the Electoral Code were voted on in the second reading, lasted more than 14 hours and ended after 04:00 in the morning.

„I am in a great hurry. I heard from my colleagues that this week - on Thursday or Friday, the report will be submitted to the National Assembly. That is, now it is written at night, quickly, on the fly, just like that committee, if we remember, in 15 seconds. This is how things are happening right now”, Bogdanov said.
He believes that there are scandalous proposals, such as the election campaign being only 20 days. „My colleagues fought to have the proposal not to have a sociology during election day dropped”, Bogdanov added. He said he expects a veto from the presidential institution.

Bogdanov also commented on the potential partnership with Rumen Radev after the elections. “In recent months, Bulgarians have understood that the future of the state is in their hands. There is no need for a savior, but for an active civic position, for resistance to any attempt to compromise the normal development of the state. We have two main priorities - to build a strong Bulgaria with strong, functioning institutions and the rule of law, and to ensure that Bulgaria is a full member and partner in building a strong European Union. These priorities of ours are the basis of conversations with anyone with whom we could potentially work”, said Bogdanov.

He described the president's answers on important foreign policy issues as contradictory. “This does not give us confidence that we could at this point confirm a partnership with a potential party of Mr. Radev”, said Bogdanov.
