There is no time for changes in the EC“, commented the co-chairman of „Democratic Bulgaria“ Bozhidar Bozhanov. He responded to Toshko Yordanov's accusations that the PP-DB did not adopt measures against the dead souls in the electoral lists.
„Their proposal is illiterate. The NSI, the MRDPW and we gave them arguments that this would create more problems and more dead souls. We had another proposal, which they did not support – people who have not applied for a reissue of an ID card will not be included in the electoral rolls. This will clear out the dead souls“, explained Bozhidar Bozanov.
We insist that before the ratification of Bulgaria's accession to the Peace Board, there should be a ruling by the Constitutional Court, announced Nadezhda Yordanova. “We will take action and insist on this ruling before ratification“.
The co-chairman of “Democratic Bulgaria“ Ivaylo Mirchev commented on the case of Delyan Peevski's property declaration. He explained that in September a signal was filed about Delyan Peevski's companies and a dividend of about 100 million leva was paid. “The prosecutor's office has initiated pre-trial proceedings on this signal and is working on it. We are issuing a new signal related to third parties and companies that made expenses in favor of Peevski. This will be the next signal we submit to the prosecutor's office“.
