The resigned Minister of the Environment Manol Genov described as fantasies and hypotheses the association of his name as part of Rumen Radev's political project.
Genov said that no one has offered him anything and that he is a member of the BSP. He added that he has not been invited to participate in the future caretaker government, but he will consider it if he receives one. According to Manol Genov, Rumen Radev's entry into politics is facing a difficult moment for the BSP.
Manol Genov, Minister of Environment and Waters in resignation: "I have not hidden the fact that I worked for President Radev, even in the second term, the second term that he was running for, despite the instructions from the leadership at the time, from the chairman of the party at the time, we have not fulfilled the will of the leadership, we have fulfilled the will of our voters, so we have, I can say, worked like a hawk for the election of Radev as president and hence now comes the really difficult moment for the BSP, in which it falls, because most BSP voters supported Mr. Radev for president in both the first and second terms."
