Kiril Petkov will not participate in the lists of "We Continue the Change" in the upcoming early parliamentary elections, it became clear today from a statement by Nikolay Denkov.
Previously, it was also learned from social networks that Lena Borislavova will also not be a candidate for MP from "We Continue the Change", as she is starting a new project. Petkov is also working on other projects, said the deputy chairman of the party, bTV recalled.
"He is in the PP and actually has quite serious influence. He is a member of the National Assembly, we hear each other on important issues, he expresses opinions. On the lists, no, he has not expressed a desire to be on the lists, as he is also working on other projects," commented Denkov.
Daniel Lorer, Yavor Bozhankov and Lena Borislavova will not be on the lists of “We Continue the Change“ for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The chairman of the party, Assen Vassilev, commented in the National Assembly that the lists are approved after a vote by the National Council of “We Continue the Change“. “Lorer and Bozhankov will not find a place on the lists,“ confirmed Assen Vassilev.
The disagreements between the two deputies and “We Continue the Change“ began back in 2024 in the first days of the 51st National Assembly, when there was a blockage in the election of the Speaker of the Parliament. Then Bozhankov and Lorer refused to support the nomination of “There is such a people“ Silvi Kirilov for chairman. Daniel Lorer's motive was that he did not accept a majority vote in parliament with “Vazrazhdane“. Then “Democratic Bulgaria“, the coalition partner of the PP, announced that they did not support the expulsion of Bozhankov and Lorer.
