Over 70% of the levs are already out of use. We are already in the euro environment. We did a great job with the introduction of the currency. What was most important was that the large systems of financial institutions made the transition very smoothly in hours, financier Levon Hampartzumyan told BTV.
According to Levon Hampartzumyan, deposits in banks are also growing. He assured that nothing significant will change in Bulgaria after February 1, when the euro becomes the official currency in Bulgaria.
"The benefits of our admission to the eurozone are already being felt. Mostly from economically active people."
And he added: Our membership in the eurozone helped the property market to rise.
He also commented on the price of gold, which exceeded 5 thousand dollars per troy ounce:
"It is not a bubble in all cases. The curve is currently on an upward trend."
He advised people not to invest only in gold, but to invest in other things as well.
