The TIR driver who caused the death of a family on the Ring Road in Plovdiv received 10 years in prison.
The trial was held under the procedure for a summary trial, as the defendant Juney Dyulgerov admitted his guilt in full.
We recall that the tragedy occurred on November 24, 2025, shortly before midnight, on the road to Smolyan.
On the night of the incident, 24-year-old Juney Dyulgerov entered the oncoming lane and hit a car in which the Pushkov family was traveling head-on, Bulgaria ON AIR reports.
Both parents and their 14-year-old daughter died on the spot, and their other 7-year-old child miraculously survived.
