It is difficult to work at the moment. After 35 years of experience in the Ministry of Interior system, I have seen many things, but things were always limited to changes of director, deputy director, and the expertise was preserved below. During Kalin Stoyanov's tenure as minister, a total change of the management staff was carried out at three levels down - directors, chiefs. The management staff was completely replaced. This was stated by Petar Todorov, former Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, to BNT.
„Under Kalin Stoyanov, the criteria were completely ignored. 17 directors were replaced. The directors from Stoyanov's time and down, the management team were brutally replaced with tied people, broken, with low expertise. Daniel Mitov's changes were minimal. People can compare the results and the ways in which the elections were held during the service cabinets and in 2024,“, he believes.
He welcomes the election of people with expert training, untied. He emphasized that before, people with huge records of abuses, ties, corruption were put in place in order to be “convenient” and to control themselves.

On Monday, the boy was declared a national wanted person. Vasil Kostadinov started working on the case on the 25th. The twins were found at sea. Borislav says he will indicate where the body is on the 27th early in the morning. Kostadinov called me, said they know where Bizyurev is, we provided surveillance by the German services. I called Borislav Sarafov at 8 in the morning and asked him for a European arrest warrant. By 5 p.m., despite my three calls, no such warrant had been issued. At 16:30 information about the body leaked out, and when the order was issued, the person was gone. Where is Kostadinov's fault?”
„The media policy of the Ministry of Interior for „Petrohan-Okolchitsa” was wrong. The leadership cannot hide and disappear, it is unacceptable“, he is categorical.
He admires the actions of Minister Emil Dechev so far and thinks that we can be calm about the conduct of the elections.
