Excellently informed sources of “Voices“ report that Teodora Georgieva, who was removed by the European Prosecutor's Office for serious violations, is returning home this evening on a flight from Luxembourg. According to our information, the acting Interior Minister Emil Dechev has ordered the Interior Ministry's security to take Georgieva as soon as she sets foot on Bulgarian soil. His decision is strange, since Teodora Georgieva was convicted of serious violations by the Disciplinary Board of the European Prosecutor's Office, composed of high-ranking current or former representatives of the European institutions. Previously, it became clear that Teodora Georgieva became a European Prosecutor thanks to the infamous Pepi Euroto, who released a recording of his conversations with her in his office.
The College of the European Prosecutor's Office has postponed its decision on the specific sanction. In view of the seriousness of the violations found and the high degree of responsibility that the position of European Prosecutor carries, the possibility of dismissal from office cannot be ruled out.
European Chief Prosecutor Laura Kövessi has informed the European Parliament, the Council of the EU and the European Commission of the College's decision, as well as the opinion of the Disciplinary Board on the disciplinary procedure against the Bulgarian European Prosecutor.
