The National Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party approved all the leaders of the lists for the elections in April (LIST)  - 1

At its meeting today, the National Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party approved the remaining leaders of the lists of candidates for members of parliament of the coalition “BSP-United Left” for the upcoming parliamentary elections, the left's press center reported. The names are:

Burgas 2 MIR: Krum Zarkov

Krum Zarkov has a master's degree in international law and law of international organizations from the University of Paris 1 “Pantheon - Sorbonne“. He holds a diploma from the Institute of Political Science in Paris.
His professional career includes research and scientific activity at the Center for Research and Sciences in the Field of Public International Law at the “Pantheon - Sorbonne“, as well as work as an inspector - lawyer in the Commission for the Identification of Property Acquired from Criminal Activity. Member of Parliament in the 44th, 45th, 46th and 47th National Assembly. Minister of Justice of the Republic of Bulgaria in the period August 2022 - June 2023. Secretary for Legal Affairs of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria from June 2023 to May 2025. University lecturer in law and political science.

Varna 3rd MIR: Dr. Desislav Taskov

Dr. Desislav Taskov is a urologist. He works at the Oncology Hospital in Varna. Member of Parliament in the 44th and 51st National Assembly. Originally from Varna, married with two children.

Veliko Tarnovo 4 MIR: Mihail Mihalev

Mihail Mihalev is the regional chairman of BSP-Veliko Tarnovo. Journalist, PR and lecturer at the University of Veliko Tarnovo.

Vidin 5 MIR: Boyan Balev

Boyan Balev graduated in political science and macroeconomics at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", PhD in political science. He has a master's degree in National Security and Defense from the Military Academy "Georgi Rakovski".
He worked as a chief expert associate in the National Assembly. A long-time expert in the "Elections" and "Organization" of the BSP. He has experience in the energy and outsourcing sectors.

Montana 12 MIR: Plamen Mladenov

Plamen Mladenov was born in Montana. He graduated in law from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and journalism. He worked as editor-in-chief of the „State Gazette” and lawyer. He was in the administration of President Georgi Parvanov and in the National Assembly. Later he developed a private business.

Plovdiv-city 16 MIR: Tatyana Doncheva

Tatyana Doncheva graduated in law from Sofia University. She worked as a prosecutor in Gabrovo and in the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office. Member of Parliament in the 38th, 39th, 40th and 41st, 45th and 46th National Assembly. Chairman of „Movement 21”.

Silistra 20 MIR: Vladimir Marinov

Vladimir Marinov graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations with a degree in „Management”.
He is involved in agriculture and tourism. He worked as a municipal councilor in the Rhodope Municipality, deputy regional governor of Plovdiv, deputy mayor of the Rhodope Municipality, member of parliament in the 46th and 47th National Assembly. He is currently chairman of the Rhodope Municipal Council. He is vice chairman of the ABV Party. He speaks Russian, English and Spanish.

Targovishte 28 MIR: Gergana Aleksova

Gergana Aleksova has a master's degree in „European Union Law“ and “Journalism“ from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski“, as well as in “Economics and Finance“ from the Faculty of Economics of the university.
She worked as Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy. She was Deputy General Director of the National Company “Railway Infrastructure“, where she participated in the management of key infrastructure projects and European transport policies, as well as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the European Transport Corridor “Orient – Eastern Mediterranean“.

Haskovo 29 MIR: Lenko Petkanin

Lenko Petkanin is a bachelor from the University of National and World Economy with a degree in “Finance”, a master from the University of Library Science and Information Technologies and a doctor from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He has successfully completed a number of courses at “Europe Open Source”, FRIEDRICH EBERT STIFTUNG, and the European College of Economics and Management.
In the Bulgarian Socialist Party, he held the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Military Council in BSP-Sofia, Deputy Chairman, Chairman of BSP - Serdika. Member of the National Council of the BSP.
