The StateElectricity System Operator /ESO/ notified ERM West that on March 12 and 13, 2026, it will carry out repair activities on energy facilities at the “Dzhumaya“ substation.
The activities require a change in the power supply scheme for electricity consumers in settlements on the territory of Blagoevgrad Municipality, Blagoevgrad Region.
Due to the repair of the facilities owned by ESO and the change in the power supply scheme, on March 12, 2026 for the period from 08:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on March 13, 2026 for the period from 08:30 to 14:30, power outages are possible in the city of Blagoevgrad, the village of Belo Pole, the village of Bistritsa, the village of Buchino, the village of Balgarchevo, the village of Gabrovo, the village of Gorno Harsovo, the village of Debochitsa, the village of Drenkovo, the village of Dabrava, the village of Zelen Dol, the village of Klisura, the village of Leshko, the village of Lisiya, the village of Logodazh, the village of Moshtanets, the village of Obel, the village of Padesh, the village of Pokrovnik, the village of Riltsi and the village of Selishte in Blagoevgrad municipality, Blagoevgrad region.
ERM Zapad, in its capacity as the operator of the electricity distribution network, is obliged to ensure safe conditions for the implementation of activities at the ESO facility. The change of the power supply scheme cannot be implemented without operational switching, which lead to short power outages.
