An evacuation flight from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) to Sofia is scheduled for tomorrow, March 10, TravelNews reported, citing information from the MFA.
It should transport stranded Bulgarians to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. The flight is planned for March 10 at 4 p.m. local time and will be operated by the Bulgarian airline BH Air.
Bulgarian citizens who wish to use this flight to return to Bulgaria should provide a copy of the cover page of their passport and a contact phone number of +974 51119932 on WhatsApp at the Embassy in Doha. It is the individual responsibility of every traveling Bulgarian citizen to obtain an entry visa for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia if they come from Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
The largest number of stranded Bulgarians is in Qatar - 310 people, where the airspace continues to be closed. They are partially starting to open, but Qatar Airways is still operating a small number of flights.
