The Deputy General Director of the National Company for Railway Infrastructure (NRIC) Neli Andreeva resigned, reports BNT.
The actions come a few days after the Minister of Transport Korman Ismailov dismissed the Chairman of the Management Board - the former MP from "There Are Such People" Todor Vassilev and appointed in his place Eng. Maria Genova.
According to Andreeva, the appointments are scandalous and are part of the status quo that the official cabinet was tasked with fighting against. Andreeva called on caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov to closely monitor the actions of Korman Ismailov.
"After the caretaker government took office, we received an order to suspend all payments and not to sign contracts or agreements - this order was not complied with and a contract was concluded that entirely serves the interests of companies associated with the status quo. I would like to call on Prime Minister Gyurov to monitor very carefully and in detail the actions and appointments of Transport Minister Korman Ismailov, as it is obvious from his actions that he is part of the model he is supposedly fighting against. It is naive to believe that he was misled into appointing individuals who lack integrity to the highest management positions in the largest state-owned enterprise in the country," said Neli Andreeva, Deputy General Director of the National Railways Corporation.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications stated that they are familiar with Andreeva's allegations and will react later.
