The Energy Committee will make a new attempt to consider the changes to the Renewable Energy Law. The adoption of the texts is important for our country, as it is tied to the receipt of 437 million euros under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan.
On Wednesday, the topic sparked controversy in parliament after the acting Energy Minister Traycho Traykov announced that the chairwoman of the relevant committee Pavela Mitova had refused to convene a meeting of the committee. However, a meeting was convened hours later, which, however, did not gather the necessary quorum, and the nearly half a billion euros pledged remained in question.
