Only a week until the start of the election campaign

There is a week left before the start of the election campaign in our country. The deadlines for changing the names and composition of registered political formations expired yesterday.

The deadline for a political formation to request to be removed from the election documents is March 17, BNT reminds. That is also the deadline for registering the lists. The draw to determine the numbers on the ballot is on March 18. Due to the mass replacement of members of the Electoral Commission in several districts of the country during the last elections, the CEC has determined a special procedure by which they will be able to be replaced. After the names are approved, they will not be able to be changed, except in cases of personal resignation or when holding a position that is incompatible with the duties of the Electoral Commission. The campaign begins at midnight on March 20.
