Another hearing in the Sofia City Court in a case related to the "Eight Dwarfs" affair. The trial against former investigator Petyo Petrov continues to be heard in absentia, as he is a missing person, recalls "Nova TV".
Petrov is on trial for having obtained gold from the now-closed Special Prosecutor's Office 5 years ago using forged documents. It was the property of businessman Iliya Zlatanov, and its value was over 1.3 million leva.
The gold was previously seized as evidence in pre-trial proceedings.
