Gyurov before the Council of Ministers: We have a great responsibility - Bulgarians should exercise their right to vote calmly, transparently and honestly - 1

The Council of Ministers is holding its regular meeting. "Last year, hundreds of thousands of Bulgarian citizens took to the squares and refused to accept that power can be a means of use for a few at the expense of everyone else. In addition, they did not accept that laws can be voted on in 26 seconds and without discussion. Justice cannot be a function of connections and dependencies", said Andrey Gyurov before the start of the caretaker government meeting, quoted by Nova TV.
According to him, the caretaker government will not participate in any way in the election campaign. But it has taken measures to protect the integrity of the vote. "We have a great responsibility - for Bulgarians to exercise their right to vote calmly, transparently and honestly. We are working for this - the Ministry of Interior is conducting special operations against bought votes. We are putting an end to dark rooms, introducing clear standards for screens. This way we will preserve the secrecy of the vote and prevent the control of ballots. We have prevented social benefits from being used as a means of pressure", said Gyurov. And he called for mass voting, "because the biggest victory in elections is participation".
The acting government is expected to provide more clarity on when the promised 20 euro aid due to expensive fuel will be transferred to citizens' accounts.

A few days ago, the acting Minister of Labor and Social Policy Hasan Ademov explained that all individuals with an average monthly income up to twice the poverty line, which means 780 euros, are entitled to it, as long as they have a personal car or a lease.

Among the items on the agenda is the election of chairmen of the Council for Economic Analysis, the National Council for Prevention and Protection from Domestic Violence, the Council for the Development of Civil Society and the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues under the Council of Ministers.
