Krum Zarkov: There is a need for a left-wing party in the Bulgarian parliament! The BSP's coffers are not empty - 1

There is a need for a left-wing party in the Bulgarian parliament. The only left-wing party among these 24 that will run in the elections is the BSP. We have a duty and we have taken it seriously. I see that there is a result from our activities, and I am convinced that we will be in the next parliament. And why with a key role - look at the surveys. This was stated to bTV by Krum Zarkov, chairman of the BSP, quoted by novini.bg.

„The political parties are about to make the same mistake that they made the last 7-8 times. I am not worried about the BSP's place, but that we have strengthened ourselves towards another fruitless election. There is a lack of meaningful debate and messages, we only hear attacks and curses. We are ready to talk to parties that agree to work with us on the principle of mutual respect and transparency. We will not be third in a coalition, nor do we have the ambition to be first“, he is categorical.

As an example of the status quo, Zarkov gave parties that do not recognize that Borislav Sarafov is an illegal acting prosecutor general: “Our country is shaking and people are worried about rising prices and the loss of purchasing power and competitiveness. Look who has measures to combat this.”

“The caretaker cabinet began with a composition that we, the socialists, find excessively politicized. But one must also judge by the actions. I am watching Yankulov's actions with interest and I believe that they are adequate. We also see an action by the Ministry of Interior today – the activity must be noted. There are other ministers who do not seem active enough to me. There can be no high expectations for Andrey Gyurov's cabinet - he is not to blame for this," the BSP leader added.

“The BSP's coffers are not empty, we receive a subsidy, but it is not enough for a campaign. The campaign will be expensive. We can get funds in three ways - the subsidy, donations and a bank loan, which we will then repay. However, I ask the others how they will finance themselves,“ he shared.
