The election campaign for the early parliamentary elections on April 19 officially began at midnight. It will last until April 17.
14 parties, 10 coalitions and one independent candidate will fight for the votes of voters to fill 240 seats in the National Assembly. Just over 4,700 candidates are registered to vote across the country.
Over 35,000 Bulgarians have already submitted applications to vote abroad, with the deadline expiring on March 24.
By March 28, the CEC will determine the number of polling stations and the locations where they will be established.
Over 6,600,000 voters are eligible to vote in the upcoming April vote.
