Two people died in a serious accident on the international road E79 near Vratsa. The road accident occurred in the afternoon near the junction for the Vratsa village of Kravoder, when a jeep was overtaking another car. Suddenly the driver lost control of the vehicle, entered oncoming traffic and crashed into a heavy truck.
The 50-year-old driver of the jeep died on the spot, and his passenger, who is about 30 years old, died a little later in the hospital.
According to unofficial information, the car was moving at high speed on the wet road surface. Traffic in the area is restricted.
