The CEC will hold its regular briefing on the preparation for the upcoming vote in April. It is expected to present the samples of the paper and electronic ballots for voting in the elections.
A few days ago, the CEC opened the procedure for awarding a public contract for the production and delivery of paper ballots for the upcoming elections.
According to the Electoral Code, they are printed by the BNB printing house. The specialized paper with additional protections for printing the ballot from machine voting is also supplied by the BNB printing house.
924 thousand euros is the estimated value of the paper ballots for the elections. The price is excluding VAT and includes all costs for the production and delivery of the ballots.
