Bozhidar Bozhanov: Our most serious opponent is the conquered state VIDEO - 1

Our most serious opponent is the conquered state. It has no party colors. It tries to make its way and, unfortunately, very often succeeds through different parties and specific people. This is precisely what we are fighting against. Some parties have already been proven to be completely conquered, while there are justified doubts about others. Therefore, each party must prove to Bulgarian voters that it is not working with and for the conquered state. This was stated by the co-chairman of ''Yes, Bulgaria' Bozhidar Bozhanov in the program “Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov“ on NOVA NEWS.

According to him, in recent years his political formation has been criticized and even ridiculed for a number of topics and issues it raised - about justice, the role of Peevski and the modernization of the country. "Today, however, we see that many parties have taken our positions. The question is rather for them - whether they will actually follow them. Our program is extremely specific, because we see many slogans - for the fight against the oligarchy, for "right-wing politics" from parties that until recently pursued left-wing politics. The conquered state acts quietly and behind the scenes, so we focus on the specifics, not on the slogans," Bozanov emphasized.

He was categorical that an attempt is being made to divert attention from the main issue, namely how to dismantle the conquered state and free the institutions from dependencies. "In the first week, a "smoke" was thrown with the topic of shale gas, which is not really on the agenda," said the co-chair of the DB. "After the mass protests against the models associated with Peevski and Borisov, it would be arrogant and wrong to participate in governance with them. This would be contrary to public trust," the politician believes.

According to him, at the head of the executive branch, what is important is not the specific name, but the profile of the future leader - a person who is respected in Europe, who represents the country with dignity and is not a "Trojan horse" of foreign interests. "Bulgaria must have a strong voice in Europe, but not to block processes, but to contribute to its development," Bozanov is categorical.

In his words, "if there is governance, it must necessarily be based on a coalition agreement". "The lack of such leads to instability. We have learned this lesson. A clear description of priorities and publicity of what has been agreed is needed," believes the co-chair of ''Yes, Bulgaria'' .
