The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran sent a note to the Bulgarian embassy on March 18. This was announced from the parliamentary rostrum by the ITN during the extraordinary session of parliament. The note calls for restraint from any actions in support of the American state, including the storage of US aircraft at the “Vasil Levski“ airport. The letter states that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, euronews.bg specified.
“Unfortunately, despite the statements of the Bulgarian authorities that the deployment of a number of fuel tanker aircraft at the “Vasil Levski“ international airport is in support of a planned military exercise, including the presence of the American Air Force (12 aircraft), they are used to maintain and refuel bombers in the joint American-Zionist aggression against the Republic of Iran (..) The Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty“, the note from Tehran reads.
