The government is creating a Crisis Headquarters to coordinate the monitoring and control of prices of goods and fuels as a result of the conflict in the Middle East, the government information service announced.
The crisis headquarters will request information on the state and dynamics of prices of goods and fuels as a result of the conflict in the Middle East, as well as on the measures developed to deal with the increase in fuel prices from the interdepartmental working group established by order of the Prime Minister.
The headquarters will propose and take measures related to controlling the increase in prices of goods and fuels, as well as other factors influencing price formation.
The crisis headquarters will be headed by the Prime Minister and will include in its composition the ministers of finance, economy and industry, energy, transport and communications, agriculture and food, regional development and public works, labor and social policy. In his capacity as head of the Crisis Headquarters, the Prime Minister will be able to invite the chairmen of the National Statistical Institute, the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets, the Commission for Protection of Competition and the Commission for Consumer Protection, as well as the executive director of the National Revenue Agency and the director of the “Customs“ Agency, and if necessary - representatives of other institutions. The deputy prime ministers may also participate in the meetings.
