The topic of American planes at Sofia Airport has been at least two months. The question is whether we want to refuse aid to the US and confront them, as Spain did. To this end, we need to analyze the risk of the situation in the Middle East.
This was said in the program "Denyat na Zievo" on NOVA NEWS by the expert from the Center for the Study of Democracy Tihomir Bezlov, who commented on the topic of Iran's note to Bulgaria, quoted by novini.bg.
"Regarding the note, I can say that we saw what is happening with Turkey. Iran fired several missiles at Turkey and then apologized. One of the hypotheses why there are such strange messages from Iran is that there are serious discrepancies in decision-making there due to the assassinations of many senior leaders. There is obviously a problem in this regard and it is clearly not known who exactly makes the decisions. We need to analyze and assess the risk for us. There are American planes in many places in European countries and we need to assess which side we are on. Regarding the risk, for a missile to reach us it has to pass through Turkey and Greece. We see that this is not happening. The risk is negligible and for me we should not confront the US based on this risk," he was categorical.
