The acting city prosecutor of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, Emilia Rusinova, has issued an official position regarding the allegations that she traveled with Petyo Petrov - Euroto.
Here is what she stated:
In recent weeks, unverified allegations, suggestions and unacceptable public qualifications have been spread about me, presented in a manner that creates a distorted view of the facts. The only goal is my public discrediting.
I declare that I will not participate in this scenario in which media noise precedes and replaces the verification and pronouncement of the competent authority. The institutional order is being changed and the goal is clearly not to verify facts, but to create public intolerance and pressure at a specific moment.
Anyone who has information about a violation should provide it in accordance with the relevant legal order. Anything outside this order only creates suggestions and aims at public pressure.
I categorically state that the allegations that I have offered or mediated meetings and relationships with individuals are also false.
I will cooperate with all relevant facts only during a proper investigation. I will not conduct this conversation through the media, nor will I participate in publicly suggesting conclusions before the facts are established.
I have taken the necessary actions to protect my rights and name. I will not make any additional statements until the investigations are completed.
