Donka Mihaylova: President Radev's party is not left-wing - 1

In my opinion, the question is not whether "BSP - United Left" will be represented in parliament, because it will be. Rather, the question is with how many MPs. Thus, in the studio of "Hello, Bulgaria" Nikolay Berievski, leader of the list of the "BSP - United Left" coalition in the 11th MIR - Lovech, commented on the question of why voters should support the BSP and not Rumen Radev's new project?

According to him, the party has accumulated negatives, but the new direction outlined at the congress on February 7 is clear. "At the moment "BSP - United Left" is the only authentic left-wing party that will appear in these elections", stressed Berievski.

According to the deputy chairman of the BSP Donka Mihaylova, the big difference with Radev's project is that "the BSP is the left-wing party of Bulgaria". "Obviously, President Radev's party is not like that - this is evident both in the program and in the composition of the lists. Especially in the tax policy and the attitude towards social problems, where a clear profile is missing", she explained.

Berievski was categorical that "it is too early to talk about coalitions". "First we need to see the results of the elections. But it has been clearly stated - we will not participate in joint governance with GERB", he emphasized.

And Mihaylova added: "Cooperation in a future parliament will be based on clear policies and a governance program. The BSP will no longer allow itself to be a subordinate party in a coalition".

However, both emphasized that the main goal in the next parliament is the adoption of a regular budget.
