BDZ provides over 13,400 additional seats for Easter - 1

„BDZ – Passenger Transport” EOOD is taking additional measures in connection with the upcoming Easter holidays and the expected significant increase in passenger traffic, in order to ensure a more relaxed, predictable and comfortable journey. For this purpose, over 13,400 additional seats will be provided in the train trains on the main routes in the country during the period from 8 to 14 April.

BDZ recommends that its customers purchase their travel tickets as early as possible, not to rely on purchasing them at the last minute at the counters at the departure station and to plan their return in advance, as ticket sales will be suspended when the maximum capacity of each train set is filled. When purchasing a return ticket, travelers can enjoy a discount of 10% to 20% off the regular price, depending on the company's various commercial offers.

For customers who prefer to purchase tickets for their trip from the ticket offices, pre-sale is already underway for all trains traveling during the holiday period. BDZ customers can also purchase tickets through the online railway ticket sales system, which is available on the official BDZ website - www.bdz.bg, as well as at the electronic address https://bileti.bdz.bg/. In order to increase the comfort of travel, it is recommended to purchase a reserved seat on fast trains.

The national railway carrier reminds that for the normal course of the trip, passengers need to allow enough time before the departure time to move to the platform, board the train and take a seat. The trains do not allow the carriage of luggage with dimensions and weight exceeding the established norms, as well as prohibited objects and liquids.

Detailed information about the train schedule can be provided by the employees of the “Information” counters and ticket offices in all railway offices and stations in the country, on the national information phone 02/931 11 11 or from the electronic travel guide on the company's official website: www.bdz.bg.
