The reason for today's briefing is the actions of the Ministry of Interior against members and activists of GERB. Today, the Ministry of Interior exercised its repressive functions against three of our active and current members. They are municipal councilors. This was stated by the candidate-MP from GERB-SDF Hristo Terziyski during a briefing to the media, a reporter for Novini.bg reported.
Today, the Ministry of Interior conducted searches and seizures of these people's homes, including their motor vehicles, based on signals of unregulated activity during the elections. That is, buying and selling votes for the political party GERB, he specified.
I have been the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mrs. Bachvarova – too. I want to ask when the GERB government has allowed itself such actions towards any political activity during an election campaign? I want to ask Mrs. Bachvarova, who was my minister, if at least once we have taken such actions that would tarnish the election activities of any political party, Terziyski asked.
Terziyski specified that they have no claims against the ordinary police officers who perform their duties, but against the senior leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which reports every day how it fights vote buyers.
It is impressive that the only ones who fall under the blows of this aggression are GERB, not any other party, including the one that supports the caretaker government and sent it out, the one that created it. Are they progressive, are they democratic, are they continuing the change, what are they doing - I don't know. All they are continuing is the willfulness and repression, announced Georg Georgiev.

The current aim is to prevent GERB from fully participating in the elections. And now they are trying to justify their political existence, Georgiev added.
